Abstract

This study was designed to develop equation predicting VO2peak with cardiopulmonary test and 6min walking test on patients with coronary artery disease who had stent. For this study, 225 patients with coronary artery disease(male 161, female 64) were included and took body measurement, cardiorespiratory fitness test on treadmill and 6minutes walking test. There was significant correlation between VO2peak and 6 minutes walking distance(p<0.05). We analysed subjects¡¯ test results to develop equation predicting VO2peak through multivariate analysis(p<0.01). In conclusion, we could get equation as follows, men: VO2peak=0.52+(0.062¡¿6¡¯WT Distance), women: VO2peak=-7.62+(0.07 ¡¿6¡¯WT Distance).
